On the afternoon of August 16, 2026, young people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds gathered at CGCTV in Markham for a vibrant International Youth Day multicultural and anti-racism cultural and arts gala, along with an exhibition of artistic works.
The event was organized by Fengcao Arts Association, with support from Focus One Motion Studio, CGCTV, Voice Collective, and a number of media organizations, art schools, and cultural and arts groups.
The event centered around the following themes:
• Celebrate Diversity
• Promote Inclusion
• Empower Youth
• Stand Against Racism
• Build a Better Future Together
The event was planned and coordinated by Ms. Xiaoyan Zhang, with Victor Ma serving as director. It was co-hosted by Andrew Yang Muhlbacher, Ella Li, and Banu Novruzlu.

Young talents from EDu Dance Arts Academy, Voice Collective, MK Singing School, Toronto Guzheng Ensemble, Happy Linda Dance Studio, M.Dance Studio, AZ Vocal Studio, Lyra Music & Culture Society, Dare Not, and other groups gave wonderful performances in singing, dancing, and instrumental music, which were met with continuous applause from the audience.
